This week we removed several trees that have been dead for two-to-three years on the right side of the 18th green and fairway. After the removal we grinded the stumps and cleaned the mulch backfill with soil and seed.

We will be adding a new layer of bunker sand to several greenside bunkers;  we periodically add sand to try and maintain a firm but manageable surface for good playing conditions.

The 6” mainline crossing the road from the clubhouse parking to # 10 tee and fairway developed several leaks, therefore we will have to replace that section across Lopez Rd. possibly at the end of this week or beginning of next week. The greens are coming out of the small tine and topdressing with sand from last week; we will fertilize and spray fungicide to continue growth and smooth them out.
