Golf World Business magazine selected the Poppy Hills Golf Shop as one of its Top 100 Golf Shops in 2006 and 2008. The award's criteria includes the innovative use of space and eye-catching displays as well as the use of promotional ideas. In 2000, the shop was recognized by the Northern California PGA as the top public-course merchandisers in the Northern California PGA section.
