Jesse Plaza
Jesse Plaza began his career at Poppy Hills in 1999 as an outside services employee and has worked his way up to assistant golf professional.
The Salinas resident is a North County High School graduate. While he didn’t grow up playing golf he has picked up the game quickly and is the best player on staff, regularly driving the ball 280 yards and shooting around par. Plaza passed his Playing Ability Test on his first attempt and looks forward to starting the PGA program this year.
Aside from giving lessons to players of all abilities the easygoing pro is a certified clubfitter.
