Poppy Hills Again one of the PGA Tour's Toughest Courses

PEBBLE BEACH - Poppy Hills had three par 5s amongst the ranks of the toughest three-shotters on the PGA Tour in 2008.

The 4th, 9th and 12th holes all finished in the top 10 of toughest par 5s based on stroke average, with the 603-yard 4th hole clocking in at second in the rankings to the toughest par 5, #14 at Pebble Beach.

The rankings follow in the footsteps of 2006, where Poppy Hills’ 5th hole was ranked the toughest par 4 on the Tour.

PGA Tour players have discovered what NCGA members already knew about their home course….it is one difficult track.
